Stick & Seek

Stick & Seek is a location-based marketing campaign that turns digital attention into real-world action.
Instead of asking people to passively scroll, the campaign invites them to get involved and create memorable experiences for both participants and sponsoring brands.

Behind the Stick & Seek Campaign

How it Works

Stick & Seek is a simple, location-based campaign.

Cash is hidden behind our branded sticker at a real location.
Clues are shared through short-form video content, and the first person to find the drop gets the prize.

Why it Works

The campaign is designed around urgency, repetition, and reward.

Time-sensitive drops drive fast action, while repeat formats encourage people to return and turn on notifications.
Physical participation makes the experience more memorable than a standard digital giveaway.

Positive emotions created during the hunt become linked to both the campaign and the brand.

Results & Reach

Stick & Seek is built for sustained engagement, not one-off spikes.

The format has delivered millions of views, strong repeat participation, and active comment sections where people work through clues together.
Campaigns have also received coverage from The Herald and live radio discussions on BayFM Business Hub Show.

Opportunities for Sponsors

Stick & Seek gives brands meaningful exposure.

Sponsors become part of a real experience rather than just a post in a feed.
Prizes are placed directly into the hands of the community, creating strong brand recall and positive association.

Sponsorships are flexible and adaptable to different campaign goals.

Become a Sponsor

In 2026, we introduced sponsored Stick & Seek drops, giving businesses the opportunity to get involved in our sticker hunts and benefit from the same attention and hype we’ve built for Social Hands.

Sponsorship options start from R1500, with premium options available where we physically place the sticker inside your store to drive real foot traffic (R3000, plus your cash contribution). All sponsorship options are in addition to the cash placed under the sticker.
